Pumpkin Patch

The last Saturday in October we got up early, bundled up, and headed to Marble Falls to join my parents in going to Sweet Berry Farm for their Fall Festivities. Although the weather has been consistently in the low 80’s here (still!) that day there was a little cold spell so it was actually in the 50’s! Perfect for pumpkin weather! Here is a precious picture of Capri being awesome…siting in her wagon and keeping her hat and mittens on! So sweet….but wait…

Checking out the fire engine with Grandpa.

Picking out a pumpkin!

Meeting the donkey and there were lots of baby goats!

Cuddling with Grandpa.

Little Peanut feel asleep.

Now it’s actually a small miracle we got this picture. You see, as I mentioned in the precious post Capri is really into pulling her wagon. When things don’t go the way she wants with the wagon she throws huge fits…So naturally when it was time to leave the area with the goats and return and it was time for her to get back in the wagon all hell broke loose. We had a screaming kicking toddler lying on the ground in the mud with lots of families walking by and giving us pitying looks. I looked at Jeremy and said, “Don’t you just love making memories!” I shouldn’t have been disappointed I went there with the expectation that it might not go well. The second half of the trip ended up being a bit exhausting, but I guess that’s how it goes sometimes…

And finally after recovering from her meltdown…
